Details: JBC Associates has been providing construction inspection and scheduling services along the I-95 corridor for over 25 years in Philadelphia, Bucks and Delaware Counties on projects totaling more than $1 Billion in construction. As PennDOT continues to roll out the Rehabilitation and Reconstruction of I-95 in Philadelphia County, JBC continues to provide Construction Management and Construction Inspection Services on several projects along this corridor. Below are several recent projects along the corridor where JBC is the Prime consultant providing Construction Inspection/Documentation services.
SR 0095 Section BS4, Philadelphia County, PA
This $81 million project consisted of the replacement of the SR 2009 (Aramingo Avenue) two-span bridge structure over the Frankford Creek, reconstruction of the existing roadway and ramps on the west of I-95 at the Betsy Ross Bridge and the construction of a new interchange at Aramingo Avenue. Also included was the reconstruction of existing roadway extending SR 1026 (Adams Ave.) between SR 1004 (Torresdale Ave.) and SR 2009 (Aramingo Ave.) Completion: 2021
SR 0095 Section GR-1, Philadelphia County, PA
This $91.3 million project included: the reconstruction and widening of Richmond Street (S.R. 2001) between Aramingo Avenue and Ann Street; the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the Girard Avenue Bridge over Aramingo Avenue (S.R. 2009); the replacement of two Conrail overpasses with the construction of four new single-span railroad bridges, new tracks and four retaining walls; improvements to eight intersections along Richmond Street; installation of ITS components along arterial routes adjacent to I-95 between Broad Street and Betsy Ross Bridge interchanges; the extension of the Somerset Street sewer and reconstruction of associated interceptor chamber; two traffic signal installations; utility relocations and other miscellaneous construction. Completion: 2017
