Details: JBC Associates was the Construction Manager for the PA Department of General Services for this 55,750 GSF replacement of the PA State Police Headquarters building and garage at Belmont Avenue, followed by the demolition of the existing buildings and construction of additional parking on site. JBC was responsible for all project management functions, including tracking of submittals and correspondence, review and monitoring of the project schedule, processing applications for payment for four prime contractors, checking validity of change orders, monthly status reporting to DGS and the State Police, conducting bi-weekly job meetings and the preparation of meeting minutes. JBC also performed construction inspection services to ensure that the work was performed in accordance with contract plans and specifications, and coordinated DGS Quality Assurance inspections with the Design Professional.
