Details: Microsoft Corporation partnered with the Philadelphia School District to create a new 162,305 SF technology high school for approximately 750 students, along with community amenities consisting of a 500 seat 8,500 SF state of the art auditorium with two smaller revolving lecture spaces. The school is organized along a “Main Street” corridor from which classroom, gyms and cafeteria space are attached in modules. All students are connected through wireless broadband at school and teachers access data through online digital smart boards. The school is a LEED certified facility.
JBC provided scheduling services during construction of this project as part of the overall $1.5 Billion Capital Improvement Program for the School District of Philadelphia.
