Details: JBC Associates (JBC) has served as a Prime Consultant to the City of Philadelphia Department of Aviation since 2016 having previously served as a subconsultant for 8 years under two consecutive Project Management/ Construction Management (PM/CM) On Call Services agreements at Philadelphia International Airport and Philadelphia Northeast Airport. Under our current agreement JBC is providing project/construction management services including planning advisory, CPM scheduling, progress monitoring, constructability review, and construction inspection services for numerous new and renovated airport facility and tenant projects, and airfield runway and taxiway projects. We strive to assist the DOA as they look to implement their goals for sustainable project solutions and resiliency integration.
We are also responsible for developing and maintaining the Capital Program Schedule. Each calendar year, the Program Schedule assists Capital Development in establishing a baseline plan for upcoming Planned Starts: Studies, Design, and Construction NTPs that will be tracked throughout the year against the planned starts. The Program Schedule is cost-loaded, including professional services and construction costs, to assist Capital Development in managing cash flow and adjusting planned work as necessary.
JBC has provided PM/CM services on nearly two (2) dozen assignments under each of our Prime PM/CM agreements. A sampling of these facility, airfield and landside projects include:
